AI Art Work

 I am been experimenting a little with AI art programs.  You can see some of the results on the My Fiction page.  I have tried Stable Diffusion and Recraft, both allow you to try them for free.  I was impressed with the drawings, although they both have different strengths.  Stable Diffusion did spaceships better and Recraft did some excellent images of my cat character, Purr.  AI will never replace human artists.  For one thing, you give it general prompts and you get two to four images of what it thinks you want.  Although you can refine your request, it will never be the same as human collaboration to get exactly what you envisioned.  There are some things that AI [at least certain programs] have a problem with.  Hands are one thing - I ended up with both a three and six finger hand in different drawings.  Scissors also seemed throw AI for a loop.  As it 'learns' it will get better.

Writing Resources

 I am beginning to develop a page called Writer's Resources.  It will list different books and websites that are helpful to writers.  If you are a writer and have resources that are helpful to you, let me know so that I can include them.  I would like to build a page that is encouraging and instructive to both new and established authors with both "how-to" and reference materials.

Learning To Read

 All the information on our Learn To Read program is now on our Glenn Davis Books site.  If you know anyone who struggles with reading, our program will help them master this skill.  Even if you are a great reader, some of the articles will be of interest to you.  The Learn To Read Sitemap is dedicated strictly to the articles related to the skill of reading.  Take a few moments and look it over - did you know "A" had nine sounds?  Most reading programs on teach 3-4 sounds!
